A career guide with real life experience
Moving to Aotearoa NZ as a young adult, this land stole my heart.
Along the way though, I’ve probably been where you are now!
A struggling student, a migrant, working in public and private organisations, health care, community support, fitness, high schools, caregiving, returning to work, career changer, job seeker, mature student, entrepreneur, business owner, and now a career consultant!
As you can imagine, at times I’ve been stuck about what’s next and how to get there.
At one point, I reached out to a Career Coach for support, which proved to be a game changer for me, confirming the benefits and value of the work I now do.
I’ve also been that parent
– I remember when my own children were finishing school and facing huge choices about their futures.
I wanted them to have someone to talk to – a professional who understood the challenges they were going through, yet could offer guidance based on experience and knowledge.
Back then, finding someone qualified in career coaching wasn’t easy, and it got me thinking about how many young adults must feel the same way: uncertain, overwhelmed, and pressured to make decisions they don’t fully understand.
That’s where my career path took a turn.
I started working as a career advisor in a school, and it didn’t take long for me to realise this was my calling. Helping students find direction was not only rewarding, but it also inspired me to deepen my expertise.
Now, I use the tools I’ve learned along the way, with my personal experience, to guide young adults toward clarity and purpose.
Whether it’s identifying strengths, exploring career options, or creating a solid plan, my mission is to help you unlock your potential and make career decisions that feel fully aligned with who you are.
